Community involvement and volunteer work has been a huge part of our business at Casanova Enterprises. We strongly believe in making the world a better place. David and myself have each have endured hardships growing up, and are not ashamed to say that we have had to use the food bank and other resources to get by. My family has also had health issues and has used shelters, children’s hospital, Easter Seals, and a number of other organizations. Our backgrounds have given us compassion and a desire to give back to those who have helped us, and I am especially passionate about giving an opportunity to those who would not have otherwise had an opportunity.
For those reasons, we try to encourage and inspire our management and staff to get involved as well. We have traveled all over the world doing mission trips such as fighting child prostitution in Nicaragua, building homes in Cuba and teaching English and building homes in South Africa. Our team has also participated in volunteer work in the community here in British Columbia as well.
10% of our personal income (David and my income, not the business’) each month goes to charity, and a couple years ago we participated in the “Drop Zone” fundraiser and raised over $1000 for Easter Seals!
This year we at Casanova Enterprises Inc/ Casanova Painting have donated our time and resources to the 2014 PNE Prize Home, and are very excited about it! We had the opportunity to work with Britco, Jillian Harris and work alongside many other associate building sponsors. We are proud building sponsors of the 2014 PNE Prize Home!
